The role
Globiance is looking for a senior Investment Banking director with at least ten years of experience in investment and financial solutions to take part in developing a focus on Crypto and digital finance.
The Head of Investment Banking’s primary focus will be acquiring new businesses and managing existing portfolio’s of customers. Must also ensure efficient day-to-day investments and be responsible for investment ideas and solutions to maintain and build diversified portfolio’s.
With a global approach and focus on our USA, Europe, and Asia businesses, he or she will approach potential investors and close deals, as well as conduct research and providing professional advise regarding complex financial transactions in consistence with the institution’s risk policies/appetite.
What you are good at
- Research market conditions and industries to identify market trends, investment opportunities, and business risks
- Assess the value of companies based on financial reporting and market information
- Recommend investment strategies to clients based on market evaluations and research
- Prepare research reports and presentations
- Meet with clients to analyze and uncover investment opportunities
- Project revenue, costs, and cash flows that take into account the industry, economic variables, and the firm’s competitive position
- Create a valuation model for the company that includes discounted cash flows and DCF multiples
- Identify and quantify strategic and financial risks
- Develop a detailed financial model for the company
- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis to identify and quantify risks
- Handle underwriting
- Originate cross border M&A and capital markets transactions
- Oversee Junior Bankers, review and negotiate transaction documentation
- Development of various types of financial modelsto value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
- Perform various valuation methods– comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.
- Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business.
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
Key skills you have
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of working experience with 5 years of experience in a CFA position
- Experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or related field
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience in financial and accounting principles
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
- Ability to work under pressure and to provide leadership to a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify problems and develop solutions
- Strong risk control/compliance mindset with good operations skills
- High personal standard of ethics, integrity and commitment
- Knowledge and effective application of all relevant banking policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.
